Build checksums

Use a firmware you built yourself

For a command-line build, choose its .syx and paste its full SHA-256 from your build record. The hub checks that hash, the container signature and SysEx checksums. This does not prove the author or hardware compatibility. For Plaits, follow the upstream MIDI IN instructions.

USB: close Elektron Transfer and your DAW. Power on normally for Fast mode. Classic: open CONFIG › UPGRADE; startup recovery listens to MIDI IN, not USB.
